OUR BRANCHES

I have taught at Larkspur for twelve years.  This year I have the pleasure of teaching a fourth grade class. I was born and raised in Michigan in a little town called Hamilton.  I graduated from Hamilton High School then proceeded to Western Michigan University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. After graduating college I moved to Southern California where I taught for eleven years. I taught grades second through eighth. Several of those years I taught in the Gifted and Talented Program. During this time I also earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from California State University, Northridge. During my eleven years of living in Southern California I got married and had two children. My children's names are Leah, age 16, and Luke, age 14. In 2005, our family decided to move to beautiful Colorado. My husband, Paul, is a teacher at Palmer Ridge High School in Monument. We live in Castle Rock.  As a family we like to attend a variety of sporting events.  We also like to travel.  This picture shows us touching Lincoln's nose at the Lincoln Memorial.  Touching his nose is believed to bring you good luck.
